Final Presidential Debate: Who’s Campaign is More Negative?
Sadly this question had to be asked. McCain continued to talk about Obama’s spending on his ad campaign that has been clearly more than the McCain Campaign. Current numbers estimate that Obama’s Campaign spends 4 million to 1 million of the McCain Campaign on ads. However, every campaign ad that McCain has put out is negative. He is spending every ad dollar on negative campaigning. Obama has been the only campaign that includes ads with him talking about what he will do in his administration.
The negative ads about McCain’s healthcare policy is not the same as saying that Obama is palling around with “terrorists.” How can McCain’s campaign associate befriending terrorism the same way as addressing American healthcare policy decisions?

Shireen, I completely agree with you. McCain’s ads have been nothing but negative. He cannot justify what Palin said about him running with terrorists so he changed the subject. Also, he runs from the questions during the debates due to personally attacking Obama on every topic. Obama is so clam, cool and collected. One more thing, McCain is just too condescending with the sarcasm, constant interruptions, snickling and body gestures. Obama won all 3 debates hands down! We needed a better moderator. McCain got the last word just about every time.

Mccain has been negative every time. The only time he has nipped anything in the bud was when that old witch called Obama an “Arab.”

You know, we want so much to believe that everyone has some kind of filter, some threshold, that they won’t cross, that they wouldn’t want others to cross or their kids to cross. And yet we make we make excuses for ourselves or others when we shouldn’t - sometimes, MAYBE we can, it’s okay. But for a couple of years now on the blogs, w/Ohio bloggers, I’ve made a real stink about how people say, “well that’s just politics” - to me, seeking office as a publicly elected official means you should hold yourself to HIGHER standards when fighting to win, not lower.
I don’t get why we or anyone thinks the opposite is okay. I just don’t. If you can’t win playing above board, what good is that?

The Science Daily reports Mccains adds were 62% negitve while Obamas adds were 67% negitive. You people are guilty of reporting misleading and false informaition. GET THE FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ringo I completely understand your comment but yet again it depends on which report you choose to believe. I HAVE THE FACTS. It also depends on how they chose to look at the ad. Look a little closer and you will be able to see a difference. look at some other reports. Other wise you are mislead.
